 Transgressive Records
an independent record label based in London, England which has been synonymous with new, cutting-edge British music since the end of 2004. Tim Dellow, and Toby L first got together at a Bloc Party gig organised by Toby's rockfeedback website. The first release on the label, 1am by The Subways, was released on September 17, 2004, funded by Tim's £1,000. Many bands featured on the label have gone on to have major success, such as The Subways, Mystery Jets and The Young Knives and subsequently Transgressive's highly sought after early releases have been selling for as much as £75 on internet auction site, eBay.
